DIY Laundry Detergent

Powdered laundry detergent is both economical and good for the environment.
This assumes you make your own and keep it earth friendly. Did you know you don’t need suds?

The recipe is simple and effective, both in cleaning clothes and in saving you money. Try it. I think you’ll like it,

What you’ll need:

• 1 1/2 cups Baking soda

• 1 1/2 cups Washing soda

• 1/4 cup Sea salt

• 1/2 cup Epsom salt
  

  Don’t worry about suds. The powder will clean even dirty farm jeans and kids’ muddy pants.

  Mix all together and store in an airtight jar. Use 1 - 2 Tbsp/load! You don’t need much for a sparkling clean batch of clothes. I also add 1/2 - 1 cup of white vinegar for a fresh scent and additional cleansing.
